Daytona

Well server had some issues so it was an odd race.  Pete Soderberg had some technical issues with his gas pedal and had to retire. He was still able to grab a 12th place finish.  Rick ran a great race and was up front at the end. After getting hung out to dry on the outside on the last lap he was involved in a wreck in front of him and ended up crossing the finish line in reverse in 6th place. Offseason is over so it is time to put it in gear for the regular season.

Contract Finalized

Contract for the Magnum Cup has been finished. Lucky will be driving the #66 Part Time in the Magnum Cup at the FFRL.org 2011 season. When asked about how he felt in an interview team owner Pete Soderberg said, "I am very pleased to have Lucky driving for us. He will be an asset to the team and to Dodge Racing. I think Lucky has a couple wins in him for us this season. Teamed up with myself and JR, I feel we will be a strong team in this division this year and should get some great finishes on the year.

Also on another note DBF over at race2play.com has released their final points standings for their winter season. Pete Soderberg finished 8th in points in only his 2nd Season with them. He had 2 DNF's but was happy with his overall finish. Last season he ran the GNS and the COT cars full time and had a 12th place finish in points in the GNS division also. Next season he and JR will be running in the COT division. Pete said in an interview, "Should be a lot of fun next year. Cutting out the GNS division this year so that I can concentrate my time to both the DBF and the FFRL COT's and give myself plenty of time to dedicate to preperations for the ILMS league in the Lemans Cars.

8 Hours of Daytona

Well it was a long hard fought battle today. But we took 8th place in our class. Was the toughest race i have ever run as of yet. Picked up damage early and was a struggle on ever leg of the race. But we finished it, which was alot better than alot of guys. Only 22 finished the race so woo hoo for us.
